Raber Bay Outfitters started from my passion for the Outdoors instilled into me from a long back ground of hunters fisherman and outdoors heritage.
The Warner's emigrated to Goetzville/Raber area in the late 1800's from Berne Switzerland and never left. My Grand father married Marjorie Goetz Settled in the Goetz home stead and started making history, I live on that site today. The Warner's worked in the logging trade and lived off the land to feed their family's.
My father showed me how to shoot and trap, my mother showed me how to snare rabbits as she did as a kid in Cedarville Mi.. They bought me my first bow in the early 70's and I started hunting on my own. My uncles had me in the woods swamps and on the water as early as I can remember, one uncle would stop by as we got off the bus and say get in the car we are going fishing/hunting, Mom would say no after home work. The uncle always won by saying homework can be done after dark. Deer camp was our kitchen table coffee at 5 am with about 6 or 8 hunters gathering for the morning hunt because we live in some awesome deer hunting area.
